The three Basics Courses are designed to provide a first hands-on overview of basic Dataiku DSS concepts so that you can easily create and prepare your own datasets in DSS. Completion of the Basics courses will enable you to move on to more advanced courses.

Throughout the lessons, we will work with a fictional online t-shirt retailer called Haiku T-Shirt, and use their enterprise data to illustrate the basic steps to working with Dataiku. Before each hands-on section, you will have a chance to grasp each new concept by watching short videos.

In the hands-on lessons in this Basics 102 course, we will transform the Haiku T-Shirt’s dataset we created in Basics 101, create statistical analyses, group the data, and explore the Flow.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the Basics 102 Course, you will be able to:

1 - Prepare the data using visual recipes

2 - Perform a statistical analysis

3 - Aggregate and answer questions about the data
